Konrad Lex (born 7 December 1974 in Eggenfelden, Lower Bavaria) is a German ski mountaineer. He is a member of the DAV section Gangkofen and of the national team. Lex studied at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Eggenfelden (; Central Bavarian: ''Eggenfejdn'') is a municipality in the district of Rottal-Inn in Bavaria, Germany. The 2008 World Championship of Ski Mountaineering was the fourth World Championship of Ski Mountaineering sanctioned by the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions (ISMC), held in Portes du Soleil, Switzerland, from February 23 to February 29, 2008. Anton Palzer
Anton "Toni" Palzer (born 11 March 1993) is a German ski mountaineer and cyclist. He is a member of the DAV section Berchtesgadener Land and of the German national selection. Since April 2021, Palzer has joined in road bicycle racing. Career Born in Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden, Palzer attended the ''CJD Christophorusschule Berchtesgaden'' until 2009. Competing in the cadets' class at the 2010 World Championship of Ski Mountaineering in Andorra, Palzer won the individual as well as the vertical race event. In 2011, Palzer won Gold in the juniors' class individual and sprint race at the World Championship in Claut (Italy), and Silver in the juniors' vertical race. In 2012, during the European Championship in Pelvoux (France), he finished first in the juniors' individual and vertical race again. Philipp Reiter
Philipp Reiter (born 20 July 1991) is a German ski mountaineer, mountain runner and sports photographer. He is member of the German national selection of ski mountaineering. Reiter was born in Munich. He started ski mountaineering in 2001, and competed for the first time in 2006. He currently lives in Bad Reichenhall, where he visited the ''Karlsgymnasium''. He studies mathematics and biology at the University of Salzburg. In 2015/2016, he had to take a break due to chronic plantar tendinitis and took up sports photography. Today he accompanies trail running competitions as a photographer and is involved in the family business that produces sustainable clothing. Together with the Spanish photographer Jordi Saragossa, he founded ''Adventure Bakery'', an agency for image content around trail running and mountain sports. The 2011 World Championship of Ski Mountaineering ( it, Campionato del Mondo di Scialpinismo 2011) were held instead of the originally 9th edition of the European Championships of Ski Mountaineering, why it was the first World Championship in an odd-numbered year, besides the Trofeo Mezzalama in 1975, which was the real first world championship of ski mountaineering.
