Kokusai Eiga-sha
, also known as Movie International Company Ltd. (MIC), was a former Japanese animation production company known for the ''J9 Series''. It was originally established in 1974 by Tsubota as Shigezu Ukuda founded as a video distribution company. It began producing animation in 1979. Enoki Films in the United States currently holds the American license to most of Kokusai Eiga's works. The company still exists today without producing anything else but the intellectual rights of its series. J9 Series
The is a trilogy of Japanese Super Robot mecha anime television series. The anime were broadcast by TV Tokyo (TX Network) from 1981 to 1984, the 80's trilogy was produced and animated by Kokusai Eiga-sha (Movie International Company). In 2014, a fourth series was announced to be in production for a 2016 release, with the original creative and production team reunited after 30 years. However the project was cancelled in 2019 following the death of its intended showrunner, Yu Yamamoto. Shared concept Each of the anime broadcast featured a team of robot pilots variably known as "J9" whose role changed from series to series. Each was also advertised as being the "robot anime version" of another popular fictional motif. In each series, the cast of heroes were voiced by Kazuyuki Sogabe, Kaneto Shiozawa, Katsuji Mori, and Yōko Asagami. Makyou Densetsu Acrobunch
is a mecha anime series aired in 1982. There were 24 episodes. It is also referred to as "''Demon Region Legendary Acrobunch''", "'Demon Regions Legend Acrobunch''", "'Ruins Legend Acrobunch''", "'Acrobanch''". Story Led by scientist Tatsuya Randou, the Randou family undertakes a journey around the globe in order to search out ancient ruins to uncover the legend of Quetzalcoatl, which unlocks the key to a fabulous treasure. However, tailing the Randou family is Goblin, an evil organisation that covets the legendary treasure for itself. The Randou family has the secret weapon of super robot Acrobunch. It becomes a race around the world of who finds the treasure first. Concept Acrobanch was an anime pushed out to capitalize on the archeological adventure craze that was occurring in Hollywood at the time. Futari Daka
is a Japanese motorcycle racing manga written and illustrated by Kaoru Shintani. It received the 1984 Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen manga. The series focuses on Sawatari Taka and Toujou Taka as they compete with each other and other competitors in motorcycle racing. Their names means "hawk" and "falcon", respectively. The manga was adapted as a 36 episode anime series broadcast on Fuji TV between September 20, 1984, and June 21, 1985. The anime premiered in France on March 11, 1990, and was released on La Cinq and Mangas. Only 32 were aired in France. This was one of the last series to be animated by Kokusai Eiga-sha. was a Japanese animation design studio formed in 1978. It went bankrupt and was liquidated in 1997. AIC RIGHTS now holds the intellectual property of most of Artmic's titles. The studio was founded by Toshimichi Suzuki after he left Tatsunoko Productions in 1978. The company's name is short for "Art and Modern Ideology for Creation".
