Artmic
was a Japanese animation design studio formed in 1978. It went bankrupt and was liquidated in 1997. AIC RIGHTS now holds the intellectual property of most of Artmic's titles. The studio was founded by Toshimichi Suzuki after he left Tatsunoko Productions in 1978. The company's name is short for "Art and Modern Ideology for Creation". Bubblegum Crisis
is a 1987 to 1991 cyberpunk original video animation (OVA) series produced by Youmex and animated by Anime International Company, AIC and Artmic. The series was planned to run for 13 episodes, but was cut short to just 8. The series involves the adventures of the Knight Sabers, an all-female group of mercenaries who don powered exoskeletons and fight numerous problems, most frequently rogue robots. , often abbreviated as AIC is a Japanese animation studio founded on June 15, 1982 and located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. On December 10, 2015, AIC RIGHTS Co., Ltd was established through a company split, in which AIC Rights received the transfer of some of the copyrights owned by Anime International Company. Gall Force
is a metaseries of science fiction anime OVAs by the studios Artmic and AIC, with production by Youmex. The original character designs were by Kenichi Sonoda, though these were dropped for the ''Gall Force: The Revolution'' remake. Central Park Media has licensed most of the films and OVAs with the exceptions of ''Ten Little Gall Force'', ''Scramble Wars'', and ''The Revolution''. Origin ''Star Front Gall Force'' This was the origin and precursor to the ''Gall Force'' franchise. Riding Bean
is a 1989 anime original video animation following the exploits of courier-for-hire Bean Bandit and his partner, gunwoman Rally Vincent. A manga was also published in the Japanese magazine that was left unfinished (due to the closure of the magazine) after its fourth chapter. The manga is included in the final volume of the Revised Edition of the ''Gunsmith Cats'' manga. Kenichi Sonoda
is a Japanese manga artist and animation character designer. Professional career Born in Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture, Sonoda moved to Tokyo in 1984, at the age of 21, and began work at Artmic, an anime studio. During this time, he worked on ''Bubblegum Crisis'', producing the original Knight Saber character designs. He also worked on ''Gall Force'', for which he did the original character designs. He worked at Artmic until 1991, when he began work on the manga series ''Gunsmith Cats''. ''Gunsmith Cats'' is one of Sonoda's best known works, being both a Harvey and Tezuka award nominee. is a Japanese mecha designer. Yamane began his career and honed his skills at noted studio Artmic in the 1980s, beginning with ''Bubblegum Crisis'', '' A.D. Police: Dead End City'', ''Gall Force'' and ''Megazone 23''. After the studio was disbanded, he started his career as a freelancer and worked on numerous series as mecha designer, including ''The Vision of Escaflowne'', '' Cowboy Bebop'', '' Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team'' and ''Mobile Fighter G Gundam''. Hikarian
, also called ''Hikarian: Great Railroad Protector'', is a Japanese anime and toy franchise by Tomy. The first television series, , is about a series of bullet trains that are turned into robots. The robots, along with two humans named Tetsuyuki Shinbashi (新橋 テツユキ ''Shinbashi Tetsuyuki'') and Minayo Kanda (神田 ミナヨ ''Kanda Minayo''), have to stop an alien invasion. Some of the OVAs even appeared after Tomica VHS tapes. A second television series, , was later created.
