''Kittenz and Thee Glitz'' is a 2001 album by American DJ / producer Felix da Housecat. It was released in the U.S. on Emperor Norton in 2002 after being critically acclaimed in the UK. The album was created alongside Tommie Sunshine, Miss Kittin, Dave The Hustler, Harrison Crump, Junior Sanchez, Junior Jack and Melistar. It features the single "Silver Screen Shower Scene" and the vocals of French artist Miss Kittin. The album mixes early 80s electronic music, of the kind released by Ze records artist Cristina, along with house music. Felix da Housecat (born Felix Stallings Jr., August 25, 1971) is an American DJ and record producer, mostly known for house music and electro. Felix is regarded as a member of the second wave of Chicago house Musical career Early life Stallings developed an interest in the emergent Chicago house music scene at a young age. While a student at Rich East High School in Park Forest, Illinois in the mid-1980s, a chance introduction to acid house pioneer DJ Pierre gave the then 15-year-old Stallings his break, and under the patronage and guidance of Pierre, he released his first single, "Phantasy Girl," in 1987. Also in 1987, Felix went to Alabama State University to study media and communication. Kano was an Italo disco music project formed in Milan, Italy in 1979 by producers/musicians Luciano Ninzatti, Stefano Pulga and Matteo Bonsanto. History Kano's debut single was the 1980 international hit "I'm Ready", combining elements of 1970s disco, funk and R&B while extensively using synthesizers and percussive handclaps as well as raw-processed and vocoderized vocals. Kano's self-titled debut album also included "It's a War", "Ahjia", "Now Baby Now" and the instrumental track "Cosmic Voyager". The Human League
The Human League are an English synth-pop band formed in Sheffield in 1977. The Flirts were a project concept group formed by Bobby Orlando, Bobby "O" Orlando to further front his performances as an artist, musician and songwriter. The group consisted of Orlando and featured an ever revolving roster of female session singers and models. Under The Flirts name, Orlando churned out hits "Passion (The Flirts song), Passion", "Danger (The Flirts song), Danger", "Helpless (The Flirts song), Helpless" and "Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime)". ''Kid A'' is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 2 October 2000 by Parlophone.
