King Lizard
King Lizard was a four-piece rock band from London, England. Biography The band first formed in 2002, and after extensive line-up changes, took its final form in 2010. Lead singer Flash Roxx started the band at age 19. Sky London became the band's drummer after the original one left. Israeli guitarist Niro Knox, who was in a band called Skintight Jaguars, then joined. Last to join the band was bassist Alice Rain, who came from Rome to London to find a band. In 2010, Lee Benz replaced Alice Rain on bass, and Moyano El Buffalo replaced Sky London on drums. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Skintight Jaguars
Skintight Jaguars were an English hard rock/punk band from London, England. They are currently on an indefinite hiatus. The last line-up consisted of guitarist/vocalist Ryan Simmonds, bassist Matt Valentine and drummer J Machete. Original singer Kip Legend left the band in 2009 after relocating to Oslo, Norway. The band supported Backyard Babies on their 2008 tour of the UK. Music journalist Malcolm Dome described them as "Decadently apocalyptic" in ''Rock Sound'' magazine. History The band originally formed in 2002 under the initial guise of Sneaking Fog after meeting while studying at the Norwich School of Art & Design. Barfly (club)
The Barfly was a chain of live music venues in the United Kingdom originally started by Nick Moore, Jeremy Ledlin and Be Rozzo on Valentine's Day 1997. Club nights and events tended to feature rock, alternative and independent music. The flagship venue was based in Camden Town, London, England. The premises are still used as a live music venue, which has a capacity of 200. Camden venue Prior to 2000, the flagship Camden venue had been known as The Monarch, a pub which had hosted live music gigs since the 1980s. During the 1990s it became a regular venue for Britpop bands. The venue was featured in Episode 5 of Season 2 of TV series ''Spaced'' which centred around lead characters Tim and Daisy having a night out in Camden.
