Kim Viljanen
Kim Viljanen (born December 4, 1981) is a Finnish darts player. Career Viljanen won the boys' singles event at the 1999 WDF World Cup in Durban, South Africa. In 2004, he progressed to the last 32 of the World Masters, losing 3–2 to Tony West. Viljanen competed on the Scandinavian Darts Corporation (SDC) Tour in 2014, and finished third in the Scandinavian Order of Merit. He was awarded a place in the 2015 PDC World Championship after Jarkko Komula, who had finished second on the Scandinavian Tour, was excluded following a suspension by the Finnish Darts Organisation. He lost 4–1 in the preliminary round to Sascha Stein. Viljanen won three SDC Tour events in 2015 and finished top of the Order of Merit, thus qualifying for the 2016 PDC World Championship. After winning 2–1 against Sven Groen in the preliminary round, he was beaten 3–0 by Kevin Painter in the first round. Sascha Stein
Sascha Stein (born 19 October 1984) is a German professional darts player who currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career In November 2014, Stein lost in the final of the Bulls Superleague qualifier for the 2015 PDC World Darts Championship 8–10 to Max Hopp. However, Hopp subsequently qualified through the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit so Stein took his place in the preliminary round where he beat Finland's Kim Viljanen 4–1. Stein then eliminated Stuart Kellett 3–1 in the first round with both players averaging in the 70's to set up a meeting with world number one and reigning champion Michael van Gerwen. Despite taking the first set, Stein was beaten 1–4. Stein attempted to earn a PDC tour card in 2015 at Qualifying School, but could not win past the last 64 on any of the four days. Alan Norris (darts Player)
Alan Norris (born 21 February 1972) is a former English darts player. He was the runner-up at the 2014 BDO World Darts Championship and also lost in the final of the 2012 Zuiderduin Masters, with Stephen Bunting prevailing on both occasions. In 2015, he switched to the PDC and, after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2016 World Championship, he was named the PDC Best Newcomer of the year. BDO career Norris won the 2007 Sweden National Championships, beating Daniel Larsson in the final. He had earlier reached the semi-finals of the Finnish Open. The 2017 Betway World Cup of Darts was the seventh edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place between 1–4 June 2017 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The England pairing of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis were the reigning champions, after beating the Netherlands' Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld 3–2 in the 2016 final. England were represented by Lewis and Dave Chisnall. However, they lost 2–0 to the Netherlands in the semi-finals. Michael Van Gerwen
Michael van Gerwen (; born 25 April 1989) is a Dutch professional darts player. He is currently ranked number 3 in the world, having been number 1 from 2014 to 2021. He is also a three-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2014, 2017 and 2019. Van Gerwen is regarded as one of the best players of all time. Van Gerwen began playing darts at the age of 13. He won the 2006 World Masters and threw a televised nine-dart finish at the 2007 Masters of Darts, becoming the youngest player to do both, aged 17. Marko Kantele (born 24 August 1968 in Mäntyharju) is a Finnish darts player. Career Kantele made his major debut in the 1997 Winmau World Masters, beating defending champion Colin Monk in the first round but lost in the second round to Mark Day. He returned to the Masters five years later, losing in the second round to Ted Hankey.
