Samantha Fish
Samantha Fish (born January 30, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Kansas City, Missouri. While often cited as a blues artist, Fish's albums and live shows feature multiple genres, including rock, country, funk, bluegrass and ballads. Her elder sister, Amanda Fish, is a fellow singer-songwriter, recording for VizzTone Records. Early life and education Samantha Fish grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and started out playing the drums, but when she was 15 she switched to guitar. Fish's mother was the instructor in a local church choir and her father played guitar with friends. Initially hearing recordings of Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray Vaughan, she later heard music from Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones and cites the Stones' album ''Sticky Fingers'' as an influential moment. Rick Steff is a Memphis keyboard artist who has recorded with bands such as Lucero, Cat Power, Dexys Midnight Runners, and Hank Williams Jr. Rick's father is Dick Steff, a trumpet player who appeared on many songs with Elvis Presley, and Dusty Springfield. After beginning his career playing with a variety of Memphis musicians, in the early 1980s Steff moved to England and recorded as the organist for Dexy's Midnight Runners. After returning to America, Rick spent six years touring with Hank Williams Jr. until 1994. While playing with Williams, he also appeared on Don Nix's 1994 album, ''Back To The Well''. He played on the Grammy Award nominated James Blood Ulmer album, ''Memphis Blood'', in 2001. In 2006, he served as musical director for Cat Power's The Greatest Tour. Eric McFadden
Eric McFadden (born December 1, 1965) is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from San Francisco. He spent his formative years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, receiving lessons from Stanton Hirsch. During his mid-teens, he moved to Syracuse, New York, where he studied jazz guitar. He spent time in Spain studying flamenco and in interviews has expressed interest in Gypsy music. McFadden played in a number of bands in Albuquerque, most notably the Angry Babies, a punk rock/heavy metal three-piece band that toured along the West coast and released three albums in limited runs. After moving to San Francisco, he gained notoriety as lead singer and guitarist for the band Liar, which originated in 1994. Parker Millsap is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Purcell, Oklahoma, playing a blend of blues, country, rock, Americana, and folk music. Patrick Sweany (born April 26, 1974) is an American blues rock musician from Massillon, Ohio, United States. Career Patrick Sweany first gained prominence in the late 1990s as an acoustic blues guitarist and singer at many Blues Festivals around the U.S. His first CD ''I Wanna Tell You'' was released in 1999 and drew critical acclaim from prominent musicians such as Roy Book Binder and Jimmy Thackery. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999.
