Khokababu
''Khokababu'' is an Indian Bengali action comedy film directed by Shankar Aiyya. The film stars Dev, Subhashree Ganguly, Ferdous, and Laboni Sarkar in the lead roles. This film is an unofficial remake of a Telugu film, ''Dhee''. Synopsis The film is about Abir Roy a.k.a. Khoka/Khokababu ( Dev) who is a cool and a clever guy. Shankar Das a.k.a. Bhaiji ( Ferdous) is a well-known don in his territory whom everybody fears and obeys. Khoka joins Bhaiji's circle as an accountant where he has a wacky senior Khanra Babu (Subhashish Mukherjee). Khoka with his super wit starts to obtain every luxury that a perfect office should have and starts to hoax Bhaiji. Problems occur when Khoka falls in love with Bhaiji's sister Pooja (Subhashree Ganguly). Anyone who even looks in her direction is simply dealt with in the cruellest possible way. Dev (Bengali Actor)
Deepak Adhikari (born 25 December 1982), known by his stage name Dev, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and film writer, known for his works in Tollywood, and more recently, a politician. He owns the production house Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Born in Keshpur, he made his acting debut in the 2006 film '' Agnishapath'' opposite Rachna Banerjee. Dev faced flak after the film was released, and it turned out to be a critical and commercial flop. His starring role in '' I Love You'' opposite Payal Sarkar was his breakthrough. Souvik Gupta, known as "Savvy" ( bn, স্যাভি), is an Indian music director who has composed and sung songs for Bengali movies from both West Bengal and Bangladesh. Career Gupta formerly played keyboard and sung for Kolkata-based rock bands Insomnia and Crystal Grass.
