Khanabal
Khanabal is a small town located in Anantnag District's Anantnag City. The main National Highway of Kashmir passes through it. It is the center for Anantnag City's Railway Station. Khanabal is situated on both banks of the Jehlum River. The part on the western bank is called Dak Banglow Khanabal, and the part on the eastern bank is called Khanabal Bazaar. The oldest college of the district, Govt. Degree College, Anantnag, is situated on the western bank of the Jehlum River near Dak Banglow Khanabal. Besides, Dak Banglow is an army cantonment area and has a housing colony for the district administrative officers of the police. Jehlum River
The Jhelum River (/dʒʰeːləm/) is a river in the northern Indian subcontinent. It originates at Verinag and flows through the Indian administered territory of Jammu and Kashmir, to the Pakistani-administered territory of Kashmir, and then into the Pakistani province of Punjab. Jammu–Baramulla Line
The Jammu–Baramulla line is a railway track being laid to connect the Kashmir Valley in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu railway station and thence to the rest of the country. The 356 km railway track will start from Jammu and end at Baramulla. It comes under the jurisdiction of the Firozpur railway division of Indian Railways' Northern zone. Anantnag
Anantnag (/ə'nʌntna:g/ or /-nɑːg/ ), also called Islamabad, is the administrative headquarters of the Anantnag district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Anantnag district is a district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of ten districts which make up the Kashmir Valley. The district headquarters is Anantnag city. Dogri Language
Dogri ( Name Dogra Akkhar: ; Devanagari: डोगरी; Nastaliq: ; ) is an Indo-Aryan language primarily spoken in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir, India, with smaller groups of speakers in adjoining regions of western Himachal Pradesh, northern Punjab, and north-eastern Pakistani Punjab.
