Kenny Murray (rugby Union)
Kenny Murray (born 4 September 1973 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish rugby union coach. He is currently the Head coach of the Scotland national under-20 rugby union team, Scotland U20 team. He was previously an Asst. Coach at Glasgow Warriors. As a player he played at Fly-half (rugby union), Fly-half. Rugby Union career Playing career Amateur career Murray played for Cartha Queens Park. He moved to Whitecraigs RFC, Whitecraigs in 2001. Coaching career Cartha Queens Park After playing, at the age of 30, he became the Head Coach of Cartha Queens Park RFC, Cartha Queens Park until 2006. An ambitious coach he was keen on a Glasgow Warriors incentive which saw Donnie Macfadyen, John Barclay (rugby union), John Barclay and Tim Barker (rugby union), Tim Barker train his Cartha players on clearing out skills and dealing with the ball on ground. John Barclay (rugby Union)
John Adam Barclay (born 25 September 1986) is a Scottish former rugby union player, who played as a flanker and Number 8. He made 76 international appearances for the Scotland national team 2007–2019. He played at three world cups. He played club rugby for Glasgow Warriors, Scarlets and Edinburgh Rugby. Early life Barclay was born in Hong Kong, where he went to Bradbury School, discovering mini rugby at Stanley Fort RFC. Barclay later attended Dollar Academy in Scotland, where he captained the school's 1st XV to victory against the High School of Dundee in the Scottish Schools Cup final at Murrayfield in 2004. Career Barclay joined Glasgow Warriors as an apprentice in 2004. Immediately after leaving school, while still only 17, he was invited to train with the Scotland squad by then-coach Matt Williams. Donnie Macfadyen
Donald John Hunter Macfadyen (born 11 October 1979) is a former Scotland international rugby union player. He played as a Flanker. He made over 100 appearances for Glasgow Warriors from 1999 to 2008. Rugby Union career Amateur career Macfadyen played for Edinburgh Academicals at an amateur level before being signed for Glasgow Warriors. Scotland National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national under-20 rugby union team participates in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Their highest placement is 5th which they achieved in the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The U20 side also compete in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Both tournaments began in 2008 and replaced the Under 19 or Under 21 championships. The World Rugby Under 20 Championship was known as the IRB Junior World Championship up to 2014. Prior to this, there were U19 and U21 tournaments for the World Rugby Championship. There was also a U21 tournament for the Six Nations from 2004. The Under 20 side is now the pinnacle of Scottish Rugby's age-grade system. Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. In the 2014–15 season they won the Pro12 title and became the first Scottish team to win a major trophy in rugby union's professional era. The side is known for its fast, dynamic and attacking style of play, using offloads and quick rucks. Defensively the club prides itself on its 'Fortress Scotstoun' where the club play at home.
