The Scottish Rugby Union (SRU; gd, Aonadh Rugbaidh na h-Alba) is the governing body of rugby union in Scotland. Border Reivers (rugby)
Border Reivers, originally known as Scottish Borders Rugby, and also known as The Borders, were one of four professional rugby union teams in Scotland, alongside Edinburgh, Caledonia Reds and Glasgow Warriors. Border Reivers were active in the Scottish Inter-District Championship from 1996 to 1998 and in the Celtic League, Celtic Cup and Heineken Cup from 2002 until 2007, when, as part of the Scottish Rugby Union's cost-cutting measures, they were disbanded. Kenny Murray (born 4 September 1973 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish rugby union coach. He is currently the Head coach of the Scotland national under-20 rugby union team, Scotland U20 team. Ryan Moffat is a Scottish rugby union footballer. He plays at Centre. Rugby Union career Amateur career Moffat played for Whitecraigs, where he won big accolades in his debut season. He then moved on to Glasgow Hawks. where he won back to back titles and a Scottish Cup. Ed Kalman (born 7 December 1982) is a former Scottish rugby union internationalist, who played for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro12. He played as a prop; both at tighthead and loosehead. Newton Mearns
Newton Mearns ( sco, The Mearns; gd, Baile Ùr na Maoirne ) is a suburban town and the largest settlement in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. It lies southwest of Glasgow City Centre on the main road to Ayrshire, above sea level. It has a population of approximately 26,993, stretching from Whitecraigs and Kirkhill in the northeast to Maidenhill in the southeast, to Westacres and Greenlaw in the west and Capelrig/Patterton in the northwest.
