Kenichi Hayakawa
is a retired Japanese badminton player. He has been a runner-up of the All England three times (2013, 2014 and 2016) along with his partner, Hiroyuki Endo. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. Career Hayakawa won the first point in the 2014 Thomas Cup finals with Hiroyuki Endo beating 2004 World Junior Champions Hoon Thien How and Tan Boon Heong and lead the momentum for the Japanese team to claim the Thomas Cup for the first time, being the fourth nation to win Thomas cup after Indonesia, China and Malaysia. He retired in November 2016 and currently is the coach for Japanese B national team. The 2013 French Super Series was a top level badminton competition which took place from October 22, 2013 to October 27, 2013 in Paris, France. Kim Sa-rang (badminton)
Kim Sa-rang (Hangul: 김사랑; ; born 22 August 1989) is a South Korean badminton player. He competed at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. Career Kim Sa-rang started playing badminton when he was in elementary school, and his international debut on the Osaka International tournament. He joined the Korea national badminton team in 2008. At that year, he won the Australia International Challenge tournament in the men's doubles event partnered with Choi Sang-won. In 2011, he won the Turkey International tournament in the men's doubles event with Kim Gi-jung. In 2012, he and Kim Gi-jung won their first Superseries title at the Japan Open tournament. In the final round they beat the Malaysian pair Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong. At the 2012 Badminton Asia Championships in Qingdao, China, they won a gold medal after defeat Hiroyuki Endo and Kenichi Hayakawa of Japan in the final round. Kim Gi-jung or Kim Ki-jung (; or ; born 14 August 1990) is a South Korean badminton player. He competed at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's doubles event. Career In 2008, he won a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in the mixed doubles event partnered with Eom Hye-Won. Qiu Zihan (; born 17 January 1991) is a Chinese badminton player who is a doubles specialist. He was part of China winning team at the 2013 Sudirman Cup. Teamed-up with Liu Xiaolong, he won the 2013 All England Open and a silver medal at the 2015 World Championships. He also won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Championships partnered with Tian Qing. Liu Xiaolong (; born 12 May 1988) is a Chinese badminton player who is a doubles specialist. A left handler, he is the former winner of the All England Championships. Gelora Bung Karno Sports Palace ( id, Istana Olahraga Gelora Bung Karno, abbreviated as ''Istora''), the formerly name ''Istora Senayan'' is an indoor sporting arena located in Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia. Tan Boon Heong
Tan Boon Heong (, born 18 September 1987) is a former World No.1 Malaysian professional badminton player in the men's doubles event. Career 2004-2006 Tan was previously paired with Hoon Thien How, with whom he won the World Junior Championships in 2004 and a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Badminton Championships. 2006 Nearing the Doha Asian Games in 2006, Rexy Mainaky (the Malaysian doubles coach) decided to split them up and partner Tan Boon Heong with Koo Kien Keat instead. Hoon Thien How
Hoon Thien How (born 24 December 1986) is a former badminton player from Malaysia who plays in the men's doubles category. Currently, he is one of the assistant coach for Malaysia men's doubles national team. Career Hoon Thien How and Tan Boon Heong were the World Junior Champions in 2004. Their partnership continued until early 2006 when they won the silver medal at the 2006 Asian Badminton Championships. Shortly after, Tan was partnered with Koo Kien Keat and Hoon was briefly partnered with Chan Chong Ming and then, Ong Soon Hock. Hoon and Ong participated in the 2008 Indonesia Open and reached the semi-finals before being beaten by Candra Wijaya and Tony Gunawan, 25–23, 15–21, 15–21.
