Kator Football Club is a South Sudanese football club located in Juba, South Sudan which currently plays in the South Sudan Football Championship. The club is regarded as one of the most successful clubs in the league alongside its fierce rivals Atlabara Fc and Malakia Fc. Kator FC were runners up to Al-Salam FC in the 2017 season this is the greatest achievement of the team since also losing to Al-Salam FC in 2011 South Sudan National Cup Ownership On 4 December 2016. Juba Stadium
Juba Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Juba, South Sudan. It is the home ground of the South Sudan national football team. It is currently undergoing renovations, and before the year 2022 ends it will be complete and ready for use. It has also hosted matches for the 2009 CECAFA U-17 Championship. The 7,000-capacity stadium opened in 1962. A new 35,000-capacity stadium in Juba will be built soon. South Sudan (; din, Paguot Thudän), officially the Republic of South Sudan ( din, Paankɔc Cuëny Thudän), is a landlocked country in East Africa. Juba () is the capital and largest city of South Sudan. The city is situated on the White Nile and also serves as the capital of the Central Equatoria State. It is the world's newest capital city to be elevated as such, and had a population of 525,953 in 2017. It has an area of , with the metropolitan area covering . South Sudan Football Championship
South Sudan Football Championship is the top division of the South Sudan Football Association. The first season started in 2011 after the independence of South Sudan. For the first championship in 2011, seven provincial champions entered, and the title was won by Wau Salaam. They went on to represent South Sudan in the 2012 Kagame Interclub Cup of CECAFA. For the second championship in 2013, the title was won by Atlabara, and they have participated in the 2014 CAF Champions League. Al-Salam Football Club, also known as Al-Salam Wau, is a South Sudanese football club based in Wau, South Sudan, that participates in the South Sudan Premier League, South Sudan Cup, CAF Confederation Cup, and CAF Champions League. History Al-Salam Football Club, also known as Al Salam Wau owing to its location in the city of Wau, was founded in 1968. Al-Salam won the inaugural football league in 2011–12, and was the first ever South Sudanese club to enter the 2012 Kagame Interclub Cup. The team played its first match against Rwandan side Armee Patriotique Rwandaise F.C. however they suffered a heavy 7–0 defeat on their debut. The South Sudan National Cup is an annual knockout association football competition in men's domestic South Sudanese football. Organized by the South Sudan Football Association, the cup began in 2012, not long after South Sudan gained independence. Wau Salaam FC is the most successful club in South Sudan National Cup history, holding three titles. In the most recent competition, nine teams competed in the cup. However, the competition has only been held three times, most recently in 2014.
