Katlyn Alicia Johnson Carreón (born 14 September 1994) is an American-born Mexican professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women's Soccer League club Angel City FC and the Mexico women's national team. The Mexico women's national football team represents Mexico on the international stage. The Arena das Dunas (" Dunes Arena") is a football stadium in Natal, Brazil. The arena can shelter 31,375 spectators, and was designed by sports architect Christopher Lee of Populous. The 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the 4th edition of the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the quadrennial international football tournament organized by CONCACAF to determine which women's national teams from the North, Central American and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. CONCACAF announced on 12 August 2015 that the United States would host the tournament between 10–21 February 2016 in Houston and Frisco, Texas. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. The 2022 NWSL Expansion Draft (formerly named the 2021 NWSL Expansion Draft) was an expansion draft held by the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) on December 16, 2021, for two expansion teams, Angel City FC and San Diego Wave FC, to select players from existing teams in the league. Kelsey Turnbow (born January 10, 1999) is an American soccer player who plays as a forward for San Diego Wave FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the highest division of women's professional soccer in the United States. She began her professional career with Wave FC following an accomplished collegiate career with Santa Clara. Early life Turnbow played high school soccer for Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington and Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She also regularly played for the U.S. youth national teams.
