Katherine McClure (born April 16, 1981) is a Canadian actress and beauty pageant titleholder. She won Miss Earth Canada 2005 and represented her country in the 2005 Miss Earth pageant. Pageantry McClure has participated in several Canadian pageantry competitions, including Miss Toronto International (2003), Miss Canada International (2004), and Miss Toronto Galaxy (2004). She won Miss Congeniality in the Miss Earth 2005 pageant that took place on October 23, 2005 in Quezon City, Philippines. Miss Earth Canada is a beauty pageant held annually in search of the most beautiful and environmental-friendly woman in Canada. It is the official preliminary to the Miss Earth pageant. The winners are chosen based on physical attributes and skills in speaking in public on environmental matters. The Sound Of Music
''The Sound of Music'' is a musical with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. It is based on the 1949 memoir of Maria von Trapp, '' The Story of the Trapp Family Singers''. Set in Austria on the eve of the ''Anschluss'' in 1938, the musical tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as governess to a large family while she decides whether to become a nun. She falls in love with the children, and eventually their widowed father, Captain von Trapp. He is ordered to accept a commission in the German navy, but he opposes the Nazis. ''Copacabana'', also known as ''Barry Manilow's Copacabana'', is a 1994 stage musical with music by Barry Manilow, lyrics by Bruce Sussman and Jack Feldman, and book by Manilow, Sussman and Feldman. The show had its roots in an hour-long stage show, ''Barry Manilow Presents Copacabana'', which played in Atlantic City in 1990 and 1991.
