Karoli Hindriks
Karoli Hindriks (born 1983) is an Estonian entrepreneur who in 2014 founded the relocation technology company Jobbatical which she heads as CEO. In 1999, when only 16, she started a student company which made fabric soft reflectors for pedestrians and in 2007 was appointed CEO of the television station MTV Estonia. Early life and education Born in Kohtla-Järve on 17 June 1983, Karoli Hindriks was brought up in Pärnu where she attended the local high school. In 2008, she graduated in International Business Administration from the Estonian Business School in Tallinn. Kohtla-Järve
Kohtla-Järve is a city and municipality in northeastern Estonia, founded in 1924 and incorporated as a town in 1946. The city is highly industrial, and is both a processor of oil shales and is a large producer of various petrochemical products. During the 1944–1991 Soviet occupation, large numbers of immigrant workers from Russia and other parts of the former USSR were brought in to populate the rapidly growing city. The population in the Kohtla-Järve area which had been, as of 1934 census, over 90% ethnic Estonian, became overwhelmingly non-Estonian in the second half of the 20th century. According to more recent data (as of 2006) 21% of the city's population are ethnic Estonians; most of the rest are Russians. Kohtla-Järve is the fifth-largest city in Estonia in terms of population. MTV Eesti was a twenty-four-hour music and entertainment channel operated by MTV Networks Europe. The channel began on 4 September 2006 at 22:00 Eastern European Summer Time, EEST. Pärnu () is the fourth largest city in Estonia. Situated in southwest Estonia, Pärnu is located south of the Estonian capital, Tallinn, and west of Estonia's second largest city, Tartu.
