Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes
Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes (born 13 January 1985) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. She won a gold medal at the 2005 Junior World ski championships, made her World Cup debut in March 2005 in Drammen, and collected her first World Cup points with a 15th place the next year in the same city. She finished among the top ten for the first time in February 2008 in Otepää, and repeated that result in March 2009 in Trondheim. Molde
Molde () is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Romsdal. It is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. The 2015–16 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was the 35th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season started on 27 November 2015 in Kuusamo, Finland, and ended on 12 March 2016 in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Therese Johaug set a new record for total points in one season, with 2681. Martin Johnsrud Sundby set a new men's record for total points in one season, with 2634. Sundby won 14 races during the season and surpassed Petter Northug's record of nine victories which he achieved in both 2009–10 and 2012–13. Johaug won 17 races during this season and equaled Marit Bjørgen's record from 2011–12; a record Johaug herself eclipsed with 20 victories in the 2019–20 season. The 2007–08 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. It was the 27th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and ladies. The season began on 27 October 2007 with 800m sprint races for women in Düsseldorf, won by Natalia Matveeva of Russia, who took her first World Cup victory. The season concluded with World Cup Finals, a mini-tour held in Bormio, Italy. Finnish skier Virpi Kuitunen won the overall women's cup for the 2nd consecutive season and Lukáš Bauer of Czech Republic won the overall men's cup.
