is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2023 World Junior Champion, 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2023 Four Continents champion, the 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2022 Four Continents bronze medalist, and the 2021–22 Japan Figure Skating Championships, 2021–22 Japan junior national champion. Personal life Miura was born on June 8, 2005, in Tokyo, Japan. As of 2018, he is a junior high school student in Yokohama. His hobbies are watching anime and baseball matches. Career Early years Miura began skating in 2009. 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2022 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held from January 18–23, 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Held annually since 1999 (except 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), the competition featured skaters from the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. Although the event was designed for non-European skaters, the International Skating Union asked the Estonian Skating Union, the host of the 2022 European Championships, to host the Four Continents Championships in the same venue after no non-European ISU members applied to host following the Chinese Skating Association's withdrawal. 2020 NHK Trophy
The 2020 NHK Trophy was the sixth event in the 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Osaka Prefectural Kadoma Sports Center (Towa Pharmaceutical Ractab Dome) in Osaka, Japan on November 27–29. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dance. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of modifications were made to the Grand Prix structure. The competitors consisted only of skaters from the home country, skaters already training in the host nation, and skaters assigned to that event for geographic reasons. 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating was a series of invitational senior internationals which ran from October 2020 through December 2020. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Originally, before modifications resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, skaters would have earned points based on their placement at each event and the top six in each discipline would have qualified to compete at the Grand Prix Final in Beijing, China. Due to the pandemic, only four of the six events were held as scheduled, with the Grand Prix Final also ultimately cancelled. The 2019–20 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 23rd season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points.
