Kalle Kaljurand
Kalle Kaljurand (born 12 May 1960) is an Estonian badminton player. He was born in Tartu. In 1983 he graduated from University of Tartu with a degree in economic cybernetics, and 2002 from the university of Tartu with a degree in business management. His badminton coach was Mart Siliksaar. He is multiple-times Estonian champion. 1982–1991 he was a member of Estonian national badminton team. Since 2005 he has been a leader of publishing house Koolibri. His wife is diplomat Marina Kaljurand. Tartu
Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia after the Northern European country's political and financial capital, Tallinn. Tartu has a population of 91,407 (as of 2021). Mart Siliksaar
Mart Siliksaar (born 15 November 1949) is an Estonian badminton player and coach. He was born in Tartu. In 1983 he graduated from University of Tartu's Institute of Physical Education. He began his badminton career under the guidance of Helmut Valgmaa. He is multiple-times Estonian champion. 1974–1979 he was a member of Estonian national badminton team. Since 1970s he is also working as a badminton coach. 1986–2005 he was the head coach of Estonian national badminton team. Marina Kaljurand
Marina Kaljurand (née Rajevskaja; born 6 September 1962) is an Estonian politician and Member of the European Parliament. Kaljurand served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in Taavi Rõivas' second cabinet as an independent. Earlier, she served as the Ambassador of Estonia to the United States, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Kazakhstan, and Israel. Early life and education Born in Tallinn, Kaljurand is of Latvian and Russian descent through her father and mother, respectively. She identifies herself as ethnically Russian.
