Kal Yafai
Khalid "Kal" Yafai ( ar, خالد يافعي; born 11 June 1989) is a British professional boxer who held the World Boxing Association, WBA super-flyweight title from 2016 to 2020. As an amateur boxing, amateur, he represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal at the 2010 European Amateur Boxing Championships, 2010 European Championships as a flyweight. As of January 2021, he is ranked as the world's fourth best active super-flyweight by The Ring (magazine), ''The Ring'' magazine and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and sixth by BoxRec. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. Gamal Yafai
Gamal Yafai ( ar, جمال يافعي; born 4 August 1991) is a British professional boxer. He held the European super-bantamweight title between 2020 and May 2021 and previously held the Commonwealth super-bantamweight title in 2016. As an amateur he won a bronze medal at the 2010 European Championships. Personal life Gamal Yafai was born in Birmingham, England, on 4 August 1991 to Yemeni parents. He is the brother of Olympic champion flyweight Galal Yafai and former world professional flyweight champion Kal Yafai. Like them, Yafai was also a member of the Great Britain elite squad. Andry Laffita
Andry Laffita Fernández (born March 26, 1978) is a retired Cuban amateur boxer. He won the silver medal at the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he won a silver medal in the flyweight class. Career In 1996 Laffita won the world junior championship. From 1999 to 2001 he was suspended for use of steroids. Laffita rose to prominence after Olympic champion Yuriorkis Gamboa moved out of his weight class. Violito Payla (born January 8, 1979, in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental) is an amateur boxer from the Philippines best known for winning the Asian Games 2006 at flyweight. At the 2002 Asian Games he beat Tulashboy Doniyorov but lost to Noman Karim. He competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics in the flyweight (– 48 kg) division but lost his bout in the round of 32 to Doniyorov of Uzbekistan, 36-26.
