Kaira District
Kheda District is one of the thirty-three districts of Gujarat state in western India. Its central city, Kheda, is the administrative headquarters of the district. History Formerly known as Kaira district, it was divided in two with the southern part becoming Anand district in 1997. The Charotar region of Kaira consisted of four talukas (sub-districts): Nadiad, Anand, Borsad, and Petlad. When the district was divided, Nadiad Taluka went with Kheda district and the other three with Anand district. Today, Kheda has eleven talukas. Balasinor and Virpur, once in Kheda district, were moved to the newly formed Mahisagar district in 2013. Cambay, Kambay or Khambhat was a princely state in India during the British Raj. The City of Khambat (Cambay) in present-day Gujarat was its capital. The state was bounded in the north by the Kaira district and in the south by the Gulf of Cambay. Cambay was the only state in the Kaira Agency of the Gujarat division of the Bombay Presidency, which merged into the Baroda and Gujarat States Agency in 1937. Mulaza Kaira (born 10 October 1984), also known by the stage names Macky II, Macky 2, MK Macky 2, DJ Bugar, and Flava Boy, is a Zambian Multi-Award winning hip hop musician, singer, Songwriter and producer. He is known for participating in the ninth season of ''Big Brother Africa'', where he placed third in the competition. Kaira is from Chingola, Zambia and runs the Macky 2 Hope Foundation, which supports orphans and vulnerable children. Qamar Zaman Kaira ( ur, ; born 5 January 1960) is the former Minister of Information and Mass-Media Broadcasting in the Government of Pakistan. He is Incumbent advisor on Kashmir Affairs to current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Before heading the ministry of Information, Kaira was the minister of the ministry of Kashmir and Northern Areas and later ascended as acting Governor of Gilgit–Baltistan in 2009. ''Kaira'', sometimes called frilled orbweavers, is a mostly neotropical genus of Araneidae, orb-weaver spiders first described by Octavius Pickard-Cambridge, O. Pickard-Cambridge in 1889. It includes sixteen described species that occur from South America up to the southern and eastern United States of America, USA. It is presumably related to ''Aculepeira'', ''Amazonepeira'' and ''Metepeira''. They spin small webs from which they hang upside down and attract male moths that fly into a basket formed by their legs. They use a moth pheromone for this, which resembles the one used by the bolas spiders of the genus ''Mastophora (spider), Mastophora''. Though they belong to the same family, the two genera are not closely related, so this is likely an example of convergent evolution.
