227 Series
The is a DC electric multiple unit (EMU) train operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR-West) for use on suburban services in the Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima area of Japan since 14 March 2015, with plans for additional sets in the Kinki Region beginning in 2019. Design The trains have unpainted stainless steel bodies, with an exterior livery featuring red highlights. Each motored car has one motored bogie. The first batch of trains will be branded "Red Wing", with logos applied to the body sides and to the prominent anti-fall plates on the front ends, which inspired the name. Sets being ordered for 2022 will feature the colour pink which is associated with cherry blossoms as well as the softer climate experienced along the lines in which these trainsets will be running. ICOCA
The card is a rechargeable contactless smart card used on the JR West rail network in Japan. The card was launched on November 1, 2003 for usage on the Urban Network, which encompasses the major cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe (Keihanshin). It is now usable on many other networks. The ICOCA area has gradually been expanded, and now includes the San'yo region through the Okayama and Hiroshima urban areas, and some lines in northern Shikoku, San'in and Hokuriku regions as of 2020. Geibi Line
The is a railway line operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West) in the mountainous area of the Chūgoku region in Japan. It begins at Bitchū Kōjiro Station on the west side of Niimi, Okayama Prefecture, connecting through Miyoshi Station in Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, and terminating at Hiroshima Station in Hiroshima. In addition to the Chūgoku Expressway, the Geibi Line is considered the main commuter and local rail line covering the route between northern Hiroshima Prefecture and the city of Hiroshima. The name of the line refers to the ancient provinces of (in Hiroshima Prefecture) and (in Okayama Prefecture), which the line connects. Since 2007, the ICOCA card can be used in all stations between Hiroshima Station and Karuga Station (stations in the Hiroshima City Network). The is a railway line operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West) within Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan. It begins at Mihara Station in Mihara and terminates at Kaitaichi Station in Kaita.
