Kaadhal Oviyam
''Kadhal Oviyam'' () is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Bharathiraja. The film stars Kannan, in his only major screen appearance, and Radha. It was released on 30 April 1982. Plot Sakthi was an orphan, born in temple and sang devotional hymns for the temple idol. He became blind after an accident. Ponni used to hear him singing at the temple and falls in love with him. However, Ponni's mother Vadivukarasi wanted her to marry Radharavi, her relation who had come from Singapore. Ponni is not willing to marry Radharavi. Ponni performs all of Sakthi's chores without his knowledge. As Sakthi is blind, he is unable to see Ponni, but he can hear Ponni's anklets (an ornament which bharathanatiyam dancers wore on their legs). Bharathiraja
Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is an Indian film director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Making his debut in 1977 with ''16 Vayathinile'', he is known for realistic and sensitive portrayals of rural life in his films. As of 2017, he has won six National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Awards, Nandi Award. He has also directed films in Telugu language, Telugu and Hindi language, Hindi. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, in 2004 for his contribution to the film industry. Revati is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is an ''audava'' rāgam (or ''owdava'' rāgam, meaning pentatonic scale). Sankarabharanam () is a 1980 Indian Telugu-language musical drama film written and directed by K. Viswanath. Produced by Edida Nageswara Rao under the production company Poornodaya Movie Creations, ''Sankarabharanam'' starred J. V. Somayajulu, Manju Bhargavi, Chandra Mohan, and Rajyalakshmi. ''Mid-Day'' (stylised as mid-day) is a morning daily Indian compact newspaper owned by Jagran Prakashan Limited. Editions in various languages were published in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune. Dheepan Chakkravarthy is an Indian playback singer. He is the son of the first playback singer in the Tamil film industry, "Isai Thendral" Thiruchi Loganathan and grandson of actress C. T. Panchanathan Arunachalam (22 March 1941 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Kalyani is a melakarta raga (parent musical scale) in the Carnatic music. It was called Kalyan but is now more popularly called Yaman (raga), Yaman in Hindustani Music.
