KIF Vejen
Vejen EH is a former team handball club for women from Vejen, Denmark. The club declared its bankrupt the 28. April, 2014 Vejen EH began as KIF Vejen in 2005, which in KIF Kolding thought that lady team too much stood in the shadow of the successful men's team. By physically move the team to the way it was hoped to attract enough spectators and sponsors to maintain women's team's position in the league. In 2011 it was decided to completely break with Kolding IF. From the beginning of the season 2013/14 the club changed as to the current name. However, it was difficult to provide sufficient income, and 27 February 2014 the club was very close to closing. Vejen with a population of 10,009 (1 January 2022) is the main town in Vejen Municipality, Denmark. Geography The town is situated in the Danish region of Syddanmark and is a railway town at the railway between the cities of Kolding and Esbjerg. Attractions The Vejen Art Museum specializes in works from the end of the 19th century in styles including Symbolism and Art Nouveau. Economy The food industry is a major employer. Danish Women's Handball League
The Danish Women's Handball League ( da, Damehåndboldligaen) is the top professional league for Denmark, Danish women's Team handball, handball clubs. It is administered by the Danish Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Danish champions. The league is officially called Bambusa Kvindeligaen for sponsorship reasons. It has previously been known as HTH GO Ligaen, Primo Tours Ligaen, Boxer Dameligaen, TOMS Ligaen and GuldBageren Ligaen. The current title holder is Odense Håndbold (2022). The European Handball Federation (EHF) ranks the Danish league 4th in the coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the past seasons. Competition format The Danish Women's Handball League shares the season style with the Danish Handball League, men's league. It consists of 14 teams, each playing 26 regular season games.
