KEMJ
KEMJ (101.5 FM, "101-5 The Emoji") is a radio station broadcasting a Hot Adult Contemporary format serving the St. James/Fairmont, Minnesota area. The station is currently owned by Linder Radio Group. On April 1, 2020, the then-KRRW changed its callsign to KEMJ, while the KRRW calls and the classic country format moved to 105.9 FM, which began a simulcast with KEMJ. On April 18, 2020, KEMJ/KRRW re-branded as "Northstar Country 101.5/105.9." On May 15, 2020, KEMJ stopped simulcasting KRRW and began stunting with a loop of "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" by Rolf Harris in preparation of a new format. This is the same stunt done in the past with other Linder Radio Group stations when a format switch was made. On May 18, KEMJ launched a Hot AC format branded as "101.5 The Emoji." KRRW (FM)
KRRW (105.9 FM; "North Star Country 105.9") is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format in New Ulm, Minnesota (licensed to Winthrop). The station serves the New Ulm area, as well as the Mankato metropolitan area with a fringe signal. KRRW is owned by Linder Radio Group. History KRRW signed on the air in 2008 as KHRS, simulcasting Mankato sister station KXLP (94.1 FM). KHRS brought KXLP's programming back to the New Ulm area, which the 94.1 signal did not reach; until 2007, the format and call sign was used on 93.1 FM in New Ulm (now KATO-FM). The station airs a classic hits format as “106.5 Lakes FM”. KFMC was a classic rock station as "KFMC 106.5" until July 6, 2018, when the station started stunting with a loop of “Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport” by Rolf Harris in preparation of a new format which would debut on July 9, at Noon. Fairmont is a city in and the county seat of Martin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 10,487 at the 2020 census. History Fairmont was platted in 1857. KEEZ-FM (99.1 MHz, "Mix 99.1") is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Mankato, Minnesota and serving the Minnesota River Valley. The station broadcasts a hot adult contemporary format. The station is owned by Alpha Media, through licensee Digity 3E License, LLC, along with sister stations KYSM-FM, KRBI-FM and KMKO-FM.
