Kömürhan Bridge
The Kömürhan Bridge, or with its other name, İsmet Paşa Bridge, is a box-girder bridge that carries the Elazığ-Malatya highway over the Euphrates River in eastern Turkey. It was constructed using the balanced cantilever technique. The bridge was constructed to replace a 100 m long concrete arch bridge built by the Swedish company Nydqvist & Holm AB NOHAB (Nydqvist & Holm AB) was a manufacturing company based in the city of Trollhättan, Sweden. The Nissibi Bridge ( tr, Nissibi Köprüsü) is a cable-stayed bridge completed on May 21, 2015, spanning the Atatürk Reservoir on the Euphrates River at the provincial border of Adıyaman Province, Adıyaman–Şanlıurfa Province, Şanlıurfa in Southeastern Anatolia Region, southeastern Turkey. History With the forming of the reservoir lake of Atatürk Dam in 1992, the bridge on the highway Kahta–Siverek–Diyarbakır crossing the Euphrates River was inundated.
