is a Japanese multimedia advertising campaign produced by the Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau since 2013. History The origin of the project, a campaign to increase Kyoto Municipal Subway passengers by 50 thousand, started in 2011. At that time, one of the project team called 'Moe-Moe Challenge team' created a character, 'Moe Uzumasa', to promote subway. After that, the project team created her friends and families in sequence. In 2013, Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau held a competition to promote Kyoto Municipal Subway using the characters. Then the characters' refine plan proposed by GK Kyoto, a design studio in Kyoto, was adopted unanimously. Ōmiya Station (Kyoto)
is a railway station built underground in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan. Hankyu Kyoto Line serves this station. Old Pueblo Trolley is a non-profit, educational corporation based in Tucson, in the U.S. state of Arizona, that is dedicated to the preservation of Arizona's mass transit history. The name also commonly refers to the heritage streetcar line which OPT began operating in 1993, on which service is currently indefinitely suspended. Ukyō-ku, Kyoto
is one of the eleven wards in the city of Kyoto, in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. History The meaning of ''ukyō'' (右京) is "on the Emperor's right." When residing in the Kyoto Imperial Palace the emperor would sit facing south, thus the western direction would be to his right. Similarly, there is a ward to the east called Sakyō-ku (左京区), meaning "the ward on the Emperor's left." In old times, ''ukyō'' was referring to the western part of the capital. The area of ancient Ukyō slightly overlaps the area of present Ukyō-ku. The ward was established in 1931 when nine villages merged to form it.
