Kymlinge
Kymlinge () is an area of Sundbyberg Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It is mostly a recreational park, part of which is a nature reserve (Igelbäcken). History The area has been inhabited since the Iron Age. The name is known since 1347, then as ''Kymmelinghe''. Until the beginning of the 20th century, the area was still used as a farm. Since the farm was abandoned, the area has been kept as a park. In the 1970s there were plans to develop the area as a suburb, mainly to accommodate government agencies, state-owned enterprises and other offices moving out from central Stockholm (they needed larger offices). The plans were eventually scrapped, for several reasons. The suburbanisation of Stockholm had already peaked, and some government agencies were instead relocated to other cities in Sweden. Silverpilen
''The Silver Arrow'' (Swedish: "''Silverpilen''") is the nickname of a Stockholm Metro train which features in several urban legends alleging sightings of the train's ghost. Production and history The train is usually referred to as being composed of silver aluminum model C5 cars. Only one such train, composed of eight cars, was built; it was manufactured in the mid-1960s as a test unit. In a fleet of hundreds of green metro trains, ''Silverpilen'' was the only one of the trains that had not been painted and therefore remained silver. Apart from its color, air suspension, a whining distinctive motor sound and the outlying sliding doors (hence the increased passenger capacity), it was almost identical to the other metro trains in service during its lifespan. Porte Molitor (Paris Métro)
Porte Molitor (), along with the station '' Haxo'' makes up a part of the Ghost stations of the Paris Métro that have never seen a single passenger. It is situated in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The station The stations ( Line 9) and ( Line 10 westbound) are linked both by the service depots of Auteuil and a single platform situated under the boulevard Murat. A station with a central platform is found here and is called Murat or Porte Molitor. This station was originally intended to service the Parc des Princes stadium on matchdays. However, access to the station was never constructed and the station today serves as storage sidings for trains. The station's tracks merge into a single track at both ends of the station, so the station would have been served in only one direction (southbound) had it been opened. Stockholm Metro
The Stockholm metro ( sv, Stockholms tunnelbana) is a rapid transit system in Stockholm, Sweden. The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are three coloured lines, as shown on the tube maps, which form seven numbered routes with different termini. Routes numbered 17, 18 and 19 (green line), 13 and 14 (red line) and 10 and 11 (blue line) all go through the centre of the city, resulting in a very centralized system. All three lines and seven routes interchange at T-Centralen station. Apart from this, there are three other interchange between lines, at Fridhemsplan, Slussen and Gamla stan stations. Haxo (Paris Métro)
Haxo () is a ghost station on the Paris Métro. It lies on an unused connecting branch between lines 3bis and 7bis. Haxo on fr.Wikipedia History The station is situated on a line which was constructed in the 1920s between Porte des Lilas (line 3bis) and Pré-Saint-Gervais (line 7bis). A single track was built linking Place des Fêtes to Porte des Lilas, known as ''la voie des Fêtes'', with one intermediate station, Haxo. For traffic in the other direction, another track was constructed linking Porte des Lilas to Pré Saint-Gervais, with no intermediate station, called ''la voie navette''. Sundbyberg Municipality
Sundbyberg Municipality (''Sundbybergs kommun'' or ''Sundbybergs stad'') is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, just north of the capital Stockholm. Sundbyberg is wholly within the Stockholm urban area and has a 100% urban population. Sundbyberg was detached from Bromma (which since 1916 is in Stockholm Municipality) in 1888 as a market town (''köping''). It got the title of a city in 1927. In 1949 parts of Solna Municipality and Spånga Municipality (when the rest of Spånga was amalgamated into Stockholm) were added. A proposed merger with Solna in 1971 was never implemented, making Sundbyberg, with an area of , the smallest municipality in Sweden, but also the most densely populated. Ghost Station
A ghost station is a disused train station through which revenue-service passenger trains (especially rapid transit trains) pass but at which they do not stop. The term is also sometimes used for any unused underground station or any unused station, whether or not trains pass through them. Igelbäcken ( sv, (the) Leech Stream) is a small stream in northern Stockholm, Sweden. The drainage area, part of the Royal National City Park and divided into several nature reserves, is shared by the municipalities of Järfälla, Sollentuna, Solna, Stockholm, and Sundbyberg. Watershed Stretching more than 10 kilometres west to east from Säbysjön in Järfälla to Edsviken near the Ulriksdal Palace, Igelbäcken's main feeder is the stream Djupanbäcken carrying water from the small lake Djupan. Due to the location in the national park, its untouched character, and to the rare population of Stone Loach, Igelbäcken is considered one of the most valuable water bodies in Stockholm.
