Kyle Zunic
Kyle Luke Zunic (born 4 March 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played four seasons of college basketball in the United States for the Winthrop Eagles before joining the Wildcats in 2021. Early life and career Zunic was born in Sydney, New South Wales, in the southern suburb of Kogarah. His family later moved to Sanctuary Point, where he attended Sanctuary Point Public School. Around 10 and 11 years old, he played rugby league. He started playing basketball in Shellharbour before moving to Wollongong to play representative basketball for the Illawarra Hawks. He played for NSW Country at national tournaments. Zunic moved to Canberra to attend the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence and Lake Ginninderra College. Perth Wildcats
The Perth Wildcats are an Australian professional basketball team based in Perth, Western Australia. The Wildcats compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at RAC Arena, known colloquially as "The Jungle". After three years of strong lobbying to the NBL, the creation of a national basketball team in Perth finally occurred in 1982. The Westate Wildcats were established and played out of the 800-seat Perry Lakes Basketball Stadium. Interest in basketball steadily grew throughout the community and in 1984 the Westate Wildcats became the Perth Wildcats. Kogarah () is a suburb of Southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Kogarah is located 14 kilometres (9 miles) south-west of the Sydney central business district and is considered to be the centre of the St George area. 2021 Big South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 Big South men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament that ended the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season of the Big South Conference. It was held from February 27 through March 7, 2021 and all tournament games were played on home arenas of the higher-seeded school. Winthrop University
Winthrop University is a public university in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It was founded in 1886 by David Bancroft Johnson, who served as the superintendent of Columbia, South Carolina, schools. The South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL) was an Australian semi-professional basketball league. The league comprised both a men's and women's competition and was run by the country's governing body, Basketball Australia.
