Kyle Trout
Kyle Trout (born 1 March 1991) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Keighley Cougars in RFL Championship. He played for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League, playing on loan from the Wildcats at Doncaster, Batley Bulldogs, Featherstone Rovers, Whitehaven and the Hunslet Hawks in the Kingstone Press Championship. He has also played for the Sheffield Eagles and the Dewsbury Rams in the Championship, and Hull Kingston Rovers in the Betfred Super League. Background Trout was born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. He is the older brother of the rugby league footballer; Owen Trout. He played as a youth for Stanley Rangers. The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, League One. RFL League One (for sponsorship reasons currently known as the Betfred League One) is a professional rugby league competition based in the United Kingdom. Part of the British rugby league pyramid, the competition features clubs from England and Wales, and has previously included clubs from Canada and France. It is the Rugby Football League's (RFL) third-tier competition, below the Championship, with which it has promotion and relegation. The league was inaugurated in 2003 when the Northern Ford Premiership was divided into two separate leagues, initially named National League One and National League Two.
