Ky Robinson
Ky Robinson (born February 27, 2002) is an Australian long-distance runner. Robinson competed in the 10,000m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, placing sixth in a time of 27:44.33. Prep career Robinson started training for athletics when he was 15. In 2018 Robinson placed fourth in Australian U18 cross country championships. He finished in third the next year. In 2019 he won three Queensland U18 titles in the 1500m, 3000m, and the 2,000m steeplechase. That same year he won The Great Public Schools Association of Queensland cross country championship in 2019 by running 18:12 in the 6 kilometer race. Collegiate career Robinson ran at Stanford University in California alongside notable teammates such as Charles Hicks, Cole Sprout and D.J. Principe. Alexander Stadium is a track and field athletics stadium in Perry Park, Birmingham, England. It hosted the athletics and opening/closing ceremonies of the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Other events held there include the annual British Grand Prix between 2011 and 2019 and in 2022, the Amateur Athletics Association Championships, 1998 Disability World Athletics Championships, and English Schools' Athletics Championships. The men's 5000 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene from 21 to 24 July 2022. Summary The podium from the previous championships all returned. Hayward Field is a track and field stadium in the northwest United States, located on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. 2022 World Athletics Championships
The 2022 World Athletics Championships was the eighteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships. It was held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States, from July 15–24, 2022, with the country hosting that competition for the first time. The competition was originally scheduled for August 6–15, 2021, but it was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, World Athletics banned all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from participating at the championships. The 2023 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships were the 58th NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 41st NCAA Division I Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the indoor track. The field consisted of 17 different men's and women's indoor track and field events with a total of 650 participants contested from March 10 to March 11, 2023. 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships
The 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships was the 84th annual NCAA Men's Division I Cross Country Championship and the 42nd annual NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship to determine the team and individual national champions of NCAA Division men's and women's collegiate cross country running in the United States. These championships were hosted by Oklahoma State University at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma. In all, four different titles were contested: men's and women's individual and team championships. Nico Young (born July 27, 2002) is an American distance runner competing as a sophomore for Northern Arizona University. He grew up in Camarillo, California and attended Newbury Park High School. He competed in the United States Olympics Trials in 2021. Athletic career High School Career Young ran for Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, California. He broke the 3 mile cross country American high school record at the 2019 Woodbridge Invitational, running a time of 13:39.7, and lowered the American high school indoor 3000m record (previously held by Drew Hunter), running a time of 7:56.91. At the 2019 Nike Cross Nationals, Young won the race and set the course record with a time of 14:52 and led Newbury Park to the team victory.
