Kwan Poomjang
Suchakree "Kwan" Poomjang (born 2 January 1975) is a Thai former professional snooker player who spent three years on the sport's main tour between 2001 and 2004. He reached the final stages of a tournament once, at the 2002 UK Championship, and attained his highest ranking - 69th - for the 2003–04 season. Poomjang's younger brother, Dechawat Poomjaeng, also became a snooker player, and was active on the main tour between 2011 and 2017. Career Poomjang was born in 1975, and began playing snooker at competitive level as a wildcard entry in several Thailand Masters and Thailand Open tournaments in the late 1990s. He turned professional in 2001. Stuart Pettman (born 24 April 1975) is an English former professional snooker player and author. The Preston native has qualified for the World Championship three times, in 2003, 2004 and 2010. He beat 2005 champion Shaun Murphy in qualifying to reach the 2004 World Championships. He has spent 11 seasons on the professional snooker tour, with a highest ranking of 35 (2009/10 season). He had ten last-32 defeats before he first reached the last 16 of a ranking event. He started 2007/2008 strongly, reaching the last 16 of the opening Shanghai Masters (winning 4 matches before benefitting from Ronnie O'Sullivan's withdrawal) and then qualifying for the final stages of the Grand Prix by winning all 7 group games. As of January 2020, the organisation is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. Ryan Day (born 23 March 1980) is a Welsh professional snooker player. A prolific break-builder, he has compiled over 400 century breaks during his career, including two maximum breaks. The 2016 SangSom Six-red World Championship was a six-red snooker tournament held between 5 and 10 September 2016 at the Bangkok Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. It featured 48 players from 16 different nations. Thepchaiya Un-Nooh was the defending champion, but he lost 2–6 in the last 16 round to Stephen Maguire. Ding Junhui won the title by beating Stuart Bingham 8–7 in the final. Bingham won the first frame of the final, but Ding then built a 3–1 lead. The match then went to 4-4. 2004 World Snooker Championship
The 2004 World Snooker Championship (also referred to as the 2004 Embassy World Snooker Championship for the purposes of sponsorship) was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 17 April and 3 May 2004 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. Mark Williams was the defending champion, but he lost in the second round 11–13 against Joe Perry. Ronnie O'Sullivan won his second world title by defeating Graeme Dott 18–8 in the final, despite having trailed Dott 0–5.
