KwaDabeka
KwaDabeka is a township in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, located north-west of Durban and means "at the Dabeka location". Geography KwaDabeka is situated approximately 24 km north-west of Durban and 6 km north-east of New Germany and forms part of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality which is Durban's greater metropolitan area. KwaDabeka is bordered by the uMngeni River and eMachobeni in the north, Ntuzuma in the north-east, Newlands West in the east, Clermont in the south and Wyebank in the west. KwaDabeka occupies an extensive area and is subdivided into multi-sections which are primarily in the form of letters. The sections include KwaDabeka Unit A to H, KwaDabeka Unit J to L, KwaDabeka Unit R to T and Siphumelele. M5 (Durban)
The M5 is a long metropolitan route in the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa. It starts in KwaMashu in the north-western townships of Durban. It passes through the townships of KwaMashu, Newlands East, Newlands West, Ntuzuma and KwaDabeka. It then passes through the industrial town of New Germany and the leafy towns of Pinetown and Queensburgh before entering Durban and ending with the R102 in the Umbilo industrial area. Route The northern terminus of the M5 is at the M25 (to Inanda)/R102 (to Durban) off-ramp with the R102 (to Phoenix) in the Duffs Road suburb of KwaMashu. eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality is a metropolitan municipality created in 2000, that includes the city of Durban, South Africa and surrounding towns. eThekwini is one of the 11 districts of KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. The majority of its 3,442,361 people speak Zulu. It was formed from seven formerly independent local councils and tribal land. Wyebank
Wyebank is a settlement located 27 km north-west of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and forms part of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality which is the greater Durban metropolitan area. It is surrounded by Ngqungqulu in the north, KwaDabeka in the east, New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal, New Germany in the south and Kloof in the west. Clermont, KwaZulu-Natal
Clermont is a township of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Clermont under the apartheid days was a black middle income township. Its immediate surroundings include KwaDabeka to the north, New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal, New Germany to the west, Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, Westville to the south and Reservoir Hills to the east. Its main road is called Clermont road and is named after Sir Clermont, a farmer who sold his land. It was the only place in Durban where black people were able to buy property and build houses. Since the end of apartheid Clermont has been sprawling with shacks as people from the rural areas come and seek work opportunities in the nearby suburbs of Westville and New Germany, Pinetown and Durban. KwaMashu is a township (South Africa), township north of Durban, South Africa. The name is in honour of Sir Marshall Campbell and means ''Place of Marshall''. Ntuzuma
Ntuzuma is a town in eThekwini in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. With a population of 114,231 (Census 2001), Ntuzuma is the youngest of the four "PINK" (Phoenix, Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu) programme townships, and was built by the Durban City in the 1970s. The spatial and infrastructural developments of Ntuzuma have emerged incrementally in different sections, and have, to a large extent, influenced the varying service levels, political affiliations and tenure arrangements that prevail in the area. Large tracts of land are informally occupied due to the pressure for housing and its relative accessibility. With the RDP Housing Programme, a number of formal houses have been given to the people, which has contributed positively to the town's development plans.
