Kvitskardtinden is a mountain on the border of Vågå Municipality and Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about southwest of the village of Vågåmo and about northwest of the village of Beitostølen. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Store Svartdalspiggen, Langedalstinden, and Mesmogtinden to the northwest; Knutsholstinden and Leirungstinden to the north; Leirungskampen and Kalvehøgde to the east, and Torfinnstindene to the southeast. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Norway, Lom, Skjåk, Luster, Norway, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. There are also several peaks in Dovrefjell, Rondane, Dovre, Lesja, and Folldal that also reach above 2000 meters. Torfinnstindene
Torfinnstindene is a mountain in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains, about north of the village of Vang i Valdres. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Rasletinden and Kalvehøgde to the northeast, Nørdre Kalvehølotinden to the east, Galdeberget and Oksedalshøi to the west, and Langedalstinden to the northwest. It is situated on the northern shore of lake Bygdin on the western side of the Svartdalen Valley and is the southernmost and most prominent summit on a rather long ridge containing twelve more 2000 m peaks. Vågå () is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Vågåmo. Other village areas in Vågå include Lalm and Bessheim. The municipality is the 73rd largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Kalvehøgde is a mountain group in Vågå Municipality and Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains. The mountain sits about southwest of the village of Vågåmo and about northwest of the village of Beitostølen. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Rasletinden to the east; Tjønnholstinden and Tjønnholsoksle to the north; Skarvflytindene, Leirungskampen, and Leirungstinden to the northwest; and Torfinnstindene to the west. Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date).
