Kvistgård
Kvistgård is a small town in the southwestern outskirts of Helsingør, Helsingør Municipality, some 40 kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is situated in the fork between the Helsingør Motorway to the east, separating it from Espergærde, and Helsingørsvej (part of National route 9) to the west. Kvistgård railway station is a stop on the Litte North railway line between Helsingør and Hillerød. As of 2022, Kvistgård has a population of 1,133. History The first known reference to the village of Nyrup (''Nuthorp'') is in a letter from Pope Alexander III dated 2 November 1178. The village belonged to Esrum Abbey until the Reformation. In 1497 it consisted of 10 farms and in 1681 of six farms and four houses. From 1674 until 1712 the residence of the forester of Kronborg County was in Nyrup. After that he resided at Gurrehus. The most important town along the route is Fredensborg, home to Fredensborg Palace, one of the Danish Royal Family's two main residences. European Route E47
European route E47 is a road (part of the United Nations international E-road network) connecting Lübeck in Germany to Helsingborg in Sweden via the Danish capital, Copenhagen. It is also known as the Vogelfluglinie and the Sydmotorvej. The road is of motorway standard all the way except for in Germany and 6 km (4 miles) of city roads in Helsingør; there are also two ferry connections. Havreholm Slot is a hotel and conference centre located south of Hornbæk, Helsingør Municipality, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was originally built as a private residence for the owner of a local paper mill. The estate covers 30 hectares of parkland and forest and borders Hornbæk Golf Course. Espergærde
Espergærde is a town situated in North Zealand near Øresund in Denmark and is statistically considered part of the larger urban area Espergærde-Snekkersten- Elsinore, some 5 to 8 km south of the centre of Elsinore and in reality separated from the urban area of Elsinore-Snekkersten by a 100 m wide unbuilt area, Egebæksvang forest and area under natural protection around Flynderupgård (previously a village, later a farm, today a museum). Kronborg
Kronborg is a castle and stronghold in the town of Helsingør, Denmark. Immortalized as Elsinore in William Shakespeare's play ''Hamlet'', Kronborg is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe and was inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2000. Manor House
A manor house was historically the main residence of the lord of the manor.
