Kuttrapathirikai
''Kuttrapathirikai'' () is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. K. Selvamani. The film stars Ramki, Rahman, Ramya Krishnan and Roja. The film was produced by Ravi Yadav's Yadavalaya Films, had music scored by Ilaiyaraaja and has the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and the Sri Lankan Civil War as its backdrop. The film began in 1991 and was stuck for fifteen years as the Censor Board refused to allow such a film with a drastic political message to be released; the film finally released in March 2007 with several cuts. Plot A group of people in a van and ambassador car make their way into an apartment building, start shooting at the guard and proceed to kill people inside the apartment including Padmanabha, the EPRLF leader. They then kill the policemen in the check post and proceed. They are caught by Ramakrishnan (Ramki) and Arun ( Rahman). Ramakrishnan, better known by his stage name Ramki, is an Indian actor best known for his work in Tamil and Telugu films. He made his debut in ''Chinna Poove Mella Pesu'' (1987). He was a lead actor from 1987 to 2004. Ravi Yadav
Ravi Yadav is an Indian cinematographer known for his works with directors, Abbas–Mustan and R. K. Selvamani, in the Hindi and Tamil film industries, respectively. He started doing cinematography for Films, even before completing his Diploma in Cinematography from MGR Film Institute, Chennai. He started shooting Tamil feature films with his batch mates and friends. Ravi did his debut film independently, without assisting any film maker or cinematographer. Roja Selvamani (born Sri Latha Reddy; 17 November 1972), also known as R. K. Roja or Lady Roja Selvamani, is an Indian politician and former actress. The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, occurred as a result of a suicide bombing in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, India on 21 May 1991. Muthuvel Karunanidhi (3 June 1924 – 7 August 2018) was an Indian writer and politician who served as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for almost two decades over five terms between 1969 and 2011.
