Kuni-no-miya
The (princely house) was the second oldest collateral branch (''ōke'') of the Japanese Imperial Family created from the Fushimi-no-miya, the oldest of the four branches of the imperial dynasty allowed to provide a successor to the Chrysanthemum throne should the main imperial line fail to produce an heir. Kuniyuki Takahashi
Kuniyuki Takahashi (often best known simply as Kuni or Kuniyuki) is a Japanese DJ and music producer, sound engineer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. He records under many different aliases depending on the style of music he is producing, including Forth (dub techno/acid house), Frr Hive (downtempo/drum n' bass), Koss (for techno). He was also a joint member of the group DRP (Deutsches Reichs Patent) along with other member Tomoyuki Murashige. UHF (film)
''UHF'' (released internationally as ''The Vidiot from UHF'') is a 1989 American comedy film starring "Weird Al" Yankovic, David Bowe, Fran Drescher, Victoria Jackson, Kevin McCarthy, Michael Richards, Stanley Brock, Gedde Watanabe, Billy Barty, Anthony Geary, Emo Philips and Trinidad Silva; the film is dedicated to Silva, who died shortly after filming wrapped. The film was directed by Jay Levey, Yankovic's manager, who also co-wrote the screenplay with him. The film was originally released by Orion Pictures and is currently owned by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Yankovic and Levey struggled to find a production company to finance the film, but were eventually able to get Orion's support after stating they could keep the film costs under $5 million. Kuni (woreda)
Kuni is one of the Aanaas in the Oromia Regional State of Ethiopia. Part of the West Hararghe Zone, Kuni is bordered on the south by Boke, on the west by Habro, on the northeast by Chiro, and on the east by the Galetti River, which separates it from the East Hararghe Zone. Overview Khat is an important cash crop of this woreda, but because it is a very perishable commodity and must be cultivated not too far from major markets or good roads, it is grown along the main roads. Coffee is another important cash crop of this woreda. Over 50 km2 is planted with this crop. Kuni was selected in 2006 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as an area for voluntary resettlement for farmers from overpopulated areas. Kuni, Gunma
was a village located in Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. As of September 1, 2007, the village had an estimated population of 1,788 and a population density of 9.41 persons per km². The total area was 202.81 km². On March 28, 2010, Kuni was merged into the expanded town of Nakanojō. Geography Over half of the total area is covered by forests. Kuni-kyō
Kuni-kyō (恭仁京, or ''Kuni no miyako''), was the capital city of Japan between 740 and 744, whose imperial palace (恭仁宮 ''Kuni-kyū'' or ''Kuni no miya'') was built in the present-day city of Kizugawa in Kyoto Prefecture by the order of Emperor Shōmu. History The city of Kuni-kyō was never completed, as the capital was moved once again to the present-day city of Kōka, Shiga Prefecture, more specifically the in 744, only four years later. In 745 Emperor Shōmu moved the capital yet again to Naniwa-kyō (Osaka), and before the year was out, reverted the capital back to Heijō-kyō in Nara, Nara, Nara. The Kuni area was a power base for Tachibana no Moroe, who was then the minister with de facto power over the cabinet, known as the "dajō-kan" or "Great Council". Buffalo City is a metropolitan municipality situated on the east coast of Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. It includes the towns of East London, Bhisho and Qonce, as well as the large townships of Mdantsane and Zwelitsha. KUNI (FM)
KUNI (90.9 MHz) is a radio station owned and operated by the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. It is one of two NPR outlets for Eastern Iowa; the other being WSUI in Iowa City. KUNI's transmitter is in Walker, Iowa, with its primary signal covering Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. KUNI's programming is simulcast on full-power satellites KUNY 91.5 FM and KRNI 1010 AM in Mason City. KUNI also has three low-power FM translators: K233AA (94.5 FM) in Davenport, K237GD (95.3 FM) in Iowa City, and K274AA (102.1 FM) in Eldridge.
