''Kumir'' is a Tajik film released in 1988. It was directed by Yormahmad Aralev and stars Daler Nazarov, Larisa Belogurova and Ahmadsho Ulfatshoyev. Synopsis Khurshed (Daler Nazarov), a pop singer, works under the leadership of impresario Mir Alisovich. Soon he achieves success and a hero does not notice that he is gradually caught in a circle involving his new boss and patron. The film was shot in Dushanbe studio. Daler Nazarov
Daler Nazarov ( tg, Далер Назаров) (born September 8, 1959) is a Tajik singer, composer and actor of Pamiri origin. Biography Daler Nazarov was born in the Former Soviet Republic of Tajikistan. In the late 1970s, he created "Daler Nazarov's Band" which primarily focused on the rock genre and made him and his band popular. To his many fans, Daler Nazarov's band was regarded as the "Beatles" of Tajikistan. His songs "Agar on turki sherozi", "Zebo ba Zebo", "Chashmi kabudi dudi", "Chak-chaki boron", Dunyoi savdo bigzarad", "Hargiz az yod", "Nigori nozanin", "Bo perahani yosuman", "Telefoni sulh" were instant hits of the 1980s in the former Soviet Republic of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Muboraksho Mirzoshoyev
Muboraksho Abdulvahhobovich Mirzoshoyev ( tg, Муборакшо Абдулваҳҳобович Мирзошоев), better known as Muboraksho (Муборакшо) or Misha (Миша), was a Pamiri singer and composer recognized alongside Daler Nazarov as a pioneer of rock music. Muboraksho was born on August 19, 1961 in Rushon district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajik SSR. He died on February 8, 2001. Career Muboraksho spent his childhood in his home village of Yemts (Russian: Емц) in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO). At the age of 14, he composed his first song, "Chor Javon" ("Four Youths") which later became an instant hit across Tajikistan, when it hit the radio waves in the late 1980s.
