Ivan Kuchuhura-Kucherenko
Ivan Iovych Kuchuhura-Kucherenko ( uk, Іван Іович Кучугура-Кучеренко; July 7, 1878 – November 24, 1937) was a Ukrainian minstrel (kobzar) and one of the most influential kobzars of the early 20th century. For his artistry he was awarded the title "People's artist of Ukraine" in 1919 and later "People's Artist of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic" in 1926. Biography Childhood Ivan Kucherenko (or as he later became known, ''Kuchuhura-Kucherenko'') was born on July 7, 1878 in the village of Murafa of Bohodukhiv uyezd in the Kharkov Governorate of the Russian Empire. At the age of 3, he became fully blind in his left eye and had some damage in his right eye. At the age of 8, he lost his father and became an orphan. Serhiy Serhiiovych Kucherenko (; born 7 January 1984) is a Ukrainian former football midfielder. Career Born in Kirovohrad in the family of football player and coach Serhiy Petrovich Kucherenko. At the age of two, he moved to Odesa with his family. Kucherenko is a pupil of the local Chornomorets Odesa school, where his father was the coach. In the youth football league of Ukraine he played from 1998 to 2001 for Chornomorets Odesa and the Youth Sports School 11. Yevheniia Markiianivna Kucherenko ( uk, Євгенія Маркіянівна Кучеренко; 27 December 1922 – 29 December 2020) was a Soviet Ukrainian pedagogue of the Ukrainian language and literature at the No. 74 Lviv Secondary Comprehensive School in the village of Rudne for 49 years until her retirement in 1996. She had more than 70 of her works published in methodological journals in the Ukrainian educational press. Kucherenko was awarded the Hero of Socialist Labour with the Order of Lenin and the in 1968 and the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology in 1977. Oleksiy Yuriyovych Kucherenko ( uk, Олексій Юрійович Кучеренко; born April 3, 1961) is a Ukrainian politician. He was Minister of Housing and Communal Services from 2007 to 2010. Kucherenko previously served as Governor of Zaporizhzhia Oblast from 2000 to 2001. Biography Kucherenko was a Member of Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada) of III (he won a seat in constituency number 80 located in Zaporizhia Oblast as a self-nominated candidate), V (as a candidate of the Our Ukraine Bloc), VI convocation (as a candidate for the Our Ukraine–People's Self-Defense Bloc). Ivan Kucherenko (born June 1, 1987) is a Ukrainian association football, footballer playing with FC Ukraine United in the Ontario Soccer League. Playing career Ukraine and Central Asia Kucherenko began his career in 2004 with FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in the Ukrainian Premier League.
