Kuberan (2002 Film)
''Kuberan'' is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Sundar Das and produced by Menaka under the production company Revathy Kalamandhir. It stars Dileep and Samyuktha Varma in lead roles along with a supporting cast of Uma Shankari, Harisree Ashokan, Kalabhavan Mani, Indrans, and Jagathy Sreekumar. The film was released during Vishu 2002. Plot Siddharthan (Dileep) is an actor who is the guardian of three children from his village. He rents a house posing as a rich man and is visited by his old friend Ramanujan (Kalabhavan Mani), who creates chaos. Janardhanan Nair (born 5 May 1946) is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Airforce personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film '' Adyathe Kadha'', directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. He started his career when Malayalam films were made in black and white. He is known for his style of handling humour and his iconic voice. Girish Puthenchery (1961–2010) was a noted Malayalam Lyricist, Poet, Scriptwriter and Screenwriter. He was always referred to as the aristocratic lyricist of Malayalam who had a distinctive writing style of his own. He also served as the director of Indian Performance Rights Society Malayalam division (I.P.R.S) and governing council member of the Kerala Kalamandalam and Kerala Lalithakala Academy.
