Wilhelm Kube
Wilhelm Kube (13 November 1887 – 22 September 1943) was a Nazi official and German politician. He was an important figure in the German Christian movement during the early years of Nazi rule. During the war he became a senior official in the occupying government of the Soviet Union, achieving the rank of ''Generalkommissar'' for ''Generalbezirk Weißruthenien''. He was assassinated in Minsk in 1943 after participation in the Holocaust, triggering brutal reprisals against the citizens of Minsk. An extreme antisemite and participant in numerous war crimes against Jewish people, he is known to have said about Jews: "What plague and syphilis are to humanity, are Jews to the white race." However, Kube behaved towards German Jews in a relatively mild way during his charge in Minsk, by trying—unsuccessfully—to protect German Jews, whom he felt as culturally closer, from extermination. Jussi Hauta-aho, better known as Kube also known as 2 Litran Juissi, is a Finnish rapper from Hakunila. KUBE (1350 Hertz, kHz) is an AM radio, AM radio station broadcasting a sports radio, sports format. Licensed to Pueblo, Colorado, United States, it serves the Colorado Springs area. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and licensed as CC Licenses. History This station was authorized to Philip C. Lasky and J. H. Albert on October 27, 1927, as KGHF. It originally broadcast on 1430 kHz, sharing the frequency with KFXJ. It went on the air in January 1928 from the Congress Hotel. In 1964, KGHF became KKAM. KKAM would eventually become country KIDN and later return to its KGHF callsign. KKPC, KDZA (1230 AM), Pueblo's heritage Top 40 radio station and once this frequency's competitor when 1350 was KKAM, was shut down in the early 1990s and was sold to Pueblo Community College a few years later, which dropped the legendary call letters for KKPC. The studios and offices are on Elliott Avenue West in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood northwest of downtown. The transmitter is located on Cougar Mountain. History Religious (1964-196?)
