Kuala Lumpur Golf And Country Club
Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), formerly known as Tournament Players Club or TPC Kuala Lumpur, is a golf club located in Mont Kiara. Many of its facilities are open to visitors, including the golf course, driving range, all six F&B venues, bowling centre, Let's Get Fit workout classes, proshop and golf academy. The club became part of the TPC network of golf courses on 24 August 2016. The inauguration was graced by Her Majesty, Tuanku Hajah Haminah Hamidun and accompanied by the then Deputy Commissioner of PGA TOUR, Jay Monahan. The club adheres to the standards set by the PGA TOUR, LPGA and TPC Network of golf clubs. The Malaysian Open is a men's professional golf tournament currently played on the Asian Tour. Notable past winners include world number one golfers Vijay Singh and Lee Westwood (both players winning the event on two occasions). Other notable winners include 17-year-old Italian Matteo Manassero in 2011 as well as former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen the following year. CIMB Classic
The CIMB Classic was a professional golf tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the PGA Tour. Played in the fall, the event debuted in 2010 and moved to the West Course of the TPC Kuala Lumpur in 2013; the first three editions were played at The Mines Resort & Golf Club in Mines Wellness City. The event was replaced in the 2019–20 PGA Tour season by the Zozo Championship in Japan. The tournament was the first event ever sanctioned by the PGA Tour in Southeast Asia. Justin Louis Thomas (born April 29, 1993) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and is former World Number One.
