Krzysztof Lipiński
Krzysztof Lipiński (born 14 July 1984) is a Polish luger who competed from 1999 to 2006. He finished 17th in the men's doubles event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. A luge is a small one- or two-person sled on which one sleds supine (face up) and feet-first. 2006 Winter Olympics
The 2006 Winter Olympics, officially the XX Olympic Winter Games ( it, XX Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February 2006 in Turin, Italy. This marked the second time Italy had hosted the Winter Olympics, the first being in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo; Italy had also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Turin was selected as the host city for the 2006 Games in June 1999. The official motto of Torino 2006 was "Passion lives here".
