Krykhivtsi
Krykhivtsi ( uk, Крихівці, pl, Krechowce) is a big village at the southwestern edge of Ivano-Frankivsk, in Western Ukraine. It belongs to Ivano-Frankivsk urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The village is located just west of Ivano-Frankivsk International Airport. South of it is located another village of Drohomyrchany, while to the west across the Bystrytsia of Solotvyn Krykhivtsi borders a village of Pidlissya ( Ivano-Frankivsk Raion). Ivano-Frankivsk Municipality is a former administrative subdivision of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast located within the Tysmenytsia Raion and completely surrounded by that raion. It consisted of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, the administrative center of the oblast, and a number of rural localities. Population: . A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada''). Ivano-Frankivsk International Airport (Ukrainian Міжнародний аеропорт Івано-Франківськ) is an airport in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, some 4.4 km (2.7 mi) by road from the town center. Overview Ivano-Frankivsk airport is an international airport and has maintained border and customs operations since 1992. The airport is located at the site of the former village of Opryshivtsi. Its traffic capacity is claimed to be 400 passengers per hour.
