Krupka, Czech Republic
Krupka (; german: Graupen) is a town in Teplice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 12,000 inhabitants. The town is located in the Ore Mountain Mining Region, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, and during the late Middle Ages it was one of the world-leading producers of tin and silver. The centre of Krupka is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Most Basin
The Most Basin (also known as North Bohemian Basin; cs, Mostecká pánev, german: Nordböhmisches Becken) is a tectonic Depression (geology), depression and Geomorphological division of the Czech Republic, geomorphological mesoregion of the Czech Republic. It is named after the city of Most (city), Most. It forms the southwestern and central parts of the Ústí nad Labem Region. It is among the richest European deposits of lignite, which has been extracted here since the second half of 19th century, mostly by extensive surface mining. Geomorphology The Most Basin is a Mesoregion (geomorphology), mesoregion of the Podkrušnohorská Macroregion within the Bohemian Massif. Radim Breite
Radim Breite (born 10 August 1989) is a Czech football midfielder who plays for Sigma Olomouc and the Czechia national team. Club career Breite began his professional football career in the Czech First League with FK Teplice. After rarely featuring for Teplice's first team, he spent four seasons in the second division with FK Varnsdorf. By early 2016, Breite had returned to Teplice, and joined rivals FC Slovan Liberec as a mid-season replacement for David Pavelka. Herta Lindner
Herta Lindner (3 November 1920 – 29 March 1943) was a member of the German resistance against Nazism in occupied Czechoslovakia. She was born in 1920 into a German-speaking family in Mariaschein, Czechoslovakia (now Bohosudov, Czech Republic). She joined the Socialist Youth of Germany – Falcons at a young age. Lindner and her family opposed the Sudeten German Party. During the German occupation of Czechoslovakia Lindner lived in Prague and Dresden but returned in 1941 to her family. She worked as salesclerk in Teplice. Lindner was a founding member of the ''Lindenbrüder Hohenstein'' climbing club, which served as a cover for illegal anti-Nazi activities. Herta Lindner and her father were arrested by the SS on 27 November 1941 for their political activities. They were held in Most and later brought to Berlin, where Herta was sentenced to death for high treason in November 1942.
