Egil Krogh
Egil "Bud" Krogh Jr. (August 3, 1939 – January 18, 2020) was an American lawyer who became infamous as an official of the Nixon Administration and who was imprisoned for his part in the Watergate Affair. He was Senior Fellow on Ethics and Leadership at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress and Counselor to the Director at the School for Ethics and Global Leadership. Krogh co-authored the book ''Integrity: Good People, Bad Choices, and Life Lessons from the White House'' with his son Matthew. The book is the basis for the HBO series ''White House Plumbers''. Schack August Steenberg Krogh (15 November 1874 – 13 September 1949) was a Danish professor at the department of zoophysiology at the University of Copenhagen from 1916 to 1945. He contributed a number of fundamental discoveries within several fields of physiology, and is famous for developing the Krogh Principle. In 1920 August Krogh was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of the mechanism of regulation of the capillaries in skeletal muscle. Krogh was first to describe the adaptation of blood perfusion in muscle and other organs according to demands through opening and closing the arterioles and capillaries. Besides his contributions to medicine, Krogh was also one of the founders of what is today the Novo Nordisk company. Mogens Krogh (; born 31 October 1963) is a Danish former professional football player who was most recently manager of Næstved BK. In his playing career, Krogh was the first choice goalkeeper of Ikast fS between 1981 and 1991 and of Brøndby from 1991 to his retirement in December 2002, playing 464 first team matches for the latter. Krogh also played 10 matches for the Denmark national football team. He has won both the UEFA European Championship and the FIFA Confederations Cup. Grethe Krogh
Grethe Krogh (7 November 1928 – 5 April 2018) was a Danish concert organist and professor. She began playing at age five and was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Krogh's concert debut playing the piano and organ came in 1953 and she began working as an organist firstly at Nykøbing Mors from 1954 to 1957 and then at Holmen Church from 1964 to 1969. She was appointed professor of organ playing at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 1969 and worked there until 1990 when she became a freelance solo organist. Krogh received various awards and scholarships throughout the course of her career. She received the Tagea Brandt Rejselegat in 1972 and was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1974 before being promoted to Knight First Class in 1982. Sverre Krogh (11 March 1883 – 26 October 1957) was a Norwegian actuary, newspaper editor and politician for the Labour and Communist Labour parties. He later became a Nazi, working for Norwegian and German Nazis during the Second World War. Early life and labour movement He was born in Kristiania as a son of Colonel Gerhard Christopher Krogh (1839–1916) and Thora Regine Clementine Angelica Neumann (1856–1928). He studied at the University of Karlsruhe and the University of Göttingen, graduating as an actuary in 1905. Sverre Krogh (16 August 1921 – 6 June 2006) was a Norwegian farmer, organizational leader and politician for the Centre Party. He spent his career as a farmer at Mellem-Kroer farm, Ås. He inherited the farm from his father in 1958, and passed it on to his son in 1989. He was elected to the municipal council in Ås in 1947, and was a council member for 28 years. He spent the years 1956 to 1975 as mayor. He was also a member of Akershus county council from 1956 to 1987, twelve of these as deputy county mayor (''fylkesvaraordfører'').
