Kristrún Frostadóttir
Kristrún Mjöll Frostadóttir (born 12 May 1988) is an Icelandic economist and member of parliament, as well as chairwoman for the Social Democratic Alliance. She was born in Reykjavík. Frostadóttir graduated from Boston University with a master degree in economics. She is the former main economist for the bank Kvika banki and a specialist for Morgan Stanley. The Social Democratic Alliance ( is, Samfylkingin - jafnaðarflokkur Íslands), officially The Alliance – Iceland's Social Democratic Party, is a social democratic, and pro-European political party in Iceland. Logi Már Einarsson
Logi Már Einarsson (born 21 August 1964, in Akureyri) is an Icelandic politician and architect. Early life and education Logi grew up in Akureyri and took stúdentspróf from Menntaskólinn á Akureyri in 1985. He studied architecture at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design 1986– 92 and graduated as a civil architect (Master of Architecture). Professional life Following graduation Logi returned to Akureyri, where he worked as a landscape designer at H.J. teiknistofa 1992–94 and for the technical and zoning office at Akureyri municipality 1994–96, before switching back to the private sector where he worked for Form 1996-97, Úti og Inni 1997– 2003 and Arkitektúr.is 2003–04. The Alþingi (''general meeting'' in Icelandic, , anglicised as ' or ') is the supreme national parliament of Iceland. It is one of the oldest surviving parliaments in the world. The Althing was founded in 930 at ("thing fields" or "assembly fields"), situated approximately east of what later became the country's capital, Reykjavík. Even after Iceland's union with Norway in 1262, the Althing still held its sessions at until 1800, when it was discontinued. It was restored in 1844 by royal decree and moved to Reykjavík. The restored unicameral legislature first came together in 1845 and after 1874 operated in two chambers with an additional third chamber taking on a greater role as the decades passed until 1991 when Althing became once again unicameral.
