Later, when Rami Shaaban injured his knee, Björklund became the first choice for the rest of the 2008 season. After Shaaban's continued injurie problems, he rotated with Shaaban as first choice for Hammarby in 2009 season. Later on, Hammarby got relegated and "Poppen" left the club due to their economical problems. Rami Shaaban
Rami Shaaban (born 30 June 1975) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as goalkeeper. During a career that spanned between 1994 and 2012, he is best remembered for representing Djurgårdens IF, Arsenal, Fredrikstad, and Hammarby IF. A full international between 2006 and 2008, he won 16 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008. Assyriska Fotbollsföreningen, also known simply as Assyriska FF, is a Swedish football club based in Södertälje, Stockholm County. The club, formed in 1974 by Assyrian immigrants, has advanced through the league system and is currently playing in the fourth highest Swedish league, Division 2.
