Kristina Janolo
Kristina Janolo, (born February 20, 1987) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Kissimmee, Florida, who was named Miss Florida 2011. She represented Florida in the 2012 Miss America pageant, where she reached the top 13. She is the first Filipino-American winner for the Miss Florida title. Janolo studied at the University of Central Florida, where she majored in marketing. She also graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando Florida, where her younger sister, Samantha attended. She is UCF's fourth Miss Florida winner, after Ericka Dunlap in 2003 who went on to be crowned Miss America 2004, Rachael Todd in 2009, and Jaclyn Raulerson in 2010. Miss Florida
The Miss Florida competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Florida in the Miss America pageant. Florida has twice won the Miss America crown. In the fall of 2018, the Miss America Organization terminated Miss Florida organization's license as well as licenses from Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Miss America 2012, the 85th Miss America pageant, was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts of Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Ericka Dunlap
Ericka Dunlap (born December 29, 1981) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Orlando, Florida who was named Miss Florida 2003 and subsequently crowned Miss America 2004. Dunlap was the first African American woman to be crowned Miss Florida in the Miss America pageant's 81-year history. As of 2022, she is the only African American woman to have been crowned Miss Florida. Personal Dunlap is a native of Orlando, attended William R. Boone High School, and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. While attending college at the University of Central Florida, she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
