Krista Voda
Krista Voda Kelley (born May 31, 1974) is an American sportscaster who covers auto racing as the play-by-play announcer for the ARCA Menards Series on MAVTV. She previously worked for ''NASCAR on Fox'' and '' NASCAR on Speed'' from 2003 to 2014 as the host of the pre-race show for the Truck Series and beginning in 2007 as a pit reporter for the NASCAR Cup Series. She also was a fill-in sideline reporter for Fox's NFL coverage. She then worked as the pre and post-race show host for the Cup Series for NBC from 2015 to 2020. Career Voda was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa. In high school, she lettered in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The 2011 Coca-Cola 600, the 52nd running of the event, was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series motor race held on May 29, 2011, at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Contested over 400 laps on the 1.5-mile (2.4 km) asphalt quad-oval, it was the twelfth race of the 2011 Sprint Cup Series season. The race was won by Kevin Harvick for the Richard Childress Racing team. David Ragan finished second, and Joey Logano clinched third. NASCAR Trackside
''NASCAR Trackside'' was a NASCAR race themed show hosted by Krista Voda on Speed Channel. The show also featured former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and SPEED personalities Rutledge Wood and Kaitlyn Vincie. Elliott Sadler and former NASCAR crew chief Jeff Hammond occasionally occupied the seat in Petty's absence. During the Michigan broadcast on August 13, 2010 Steve Byrnes announced he was leaving the show to be the host for ''NASCAR Race Hub'' also broadcast on Speed. In 2011, he hosted the show during the NASCAR on FOX Sprint Cup coverage. The show was originally broadcast from various locations in and around the track, from pit road to the infield to the garage. Eventually this format was dropped and Trackside was re-located to the Speed Stage which was usually placed outside of the racetrack. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. KROS (1340 AM) is a commercial radio station serving the Clinton, Iowa area. The station primarily broadcasts a Variety format featuring oldies, sports and news. KROS is licensed to KROS Broadcasting, Inc. and is a CBS news affiliate. ''NASCAR Nation'' was a program on the Speed Channel, which aired Monday nights, discussing the lifestyle of NASCAR drivers when they are not on the track. It was cancelled after the 2005 season. The program began in 2005, effectively replacing ''Totally NASCAR'', which had aired on Fox Sports Net since 2001. Speed expanded the program to one hour and it was a mixture of hard news, opinion, and feature segments. It aired Monday through Friday at 7 pm Eastern Time (ET). In June 2005, the show carried an interview with NASCAR vice president of competition Robin Pemberton in which he tried to justify the disqualification of Busch Series driver Johnny Sauter. Fox Sports Networks (FSN), formerly known as Fox Sports Net, was the collective name for a group of regional sports channels in the United States.
